Children\’s Classes

Children’s Sunday School (3 yrs- 6th Grade):

First, Second & Third Sundays

9:45 – 10:45 each Sunday
Meet in the Sunday School Building for singing prior to dividing into age-appropriate Sunday School classes
Camping funds are available for children in 3rd – 8th grade who desire to attend summer church camp

Confirmation Class

(7th grade – 8th grade)

9:45 – 10:45 each Sunday
Youth are instructed in the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles’ Creed and the sacraments of baptism and communion
Youth learn how their Christian faith relates to everyday life

Children’s Church (3 yrs-6th grade):

Fourth Sundays Only

11:00 – 12:00, during church time, the 4th Sunday of each month

Children gather in the Sunday School Building for snacks then move to the Auditorium

High school youth and confirmation students conduct the worship service with liturgy and scriptures modified for children

Children’s Church is an outreach program for the entire community, all children are welcome

Junior Lutherans (3rd-8th):

5:00 pm once every three months
Youth meet in the Fellowship Hall, share a snack, have a short business meeting and Bible study.
On various occasions youth have special activities such as bowling, skating and other exciting outings
Camping funds are available for Junior Lutherans who desire to attend summer church camp

Vacation Bible School:

St Paul Lutheran and the Catholic and Methodist churches rotate hosting the VBS program each summer, usually in July
VBS is open to all children
Christ-centered learning center approach encourages children to experience God’s love through Bible stories, scripture, crafts, drama, science, music and games.
