A Special Called Congregational Meeting was held on Sunday, August 30, to vote on extending a call to Pastor Rebecca Mangelsdorf. The congregation of St. Paul Lutheran voted in favor of extending a call to Pastor Rebecca Mangelsdorf. Special thanks to the members of the Call Committee and everyone involved in the call process! All of your hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated.

Next Sunday, September 13, we will have a Blessing of Sunday School students and teachers during worship.

Next Sunday, Megan Bierschwale will speak on behalf of the Mason County Food Pantry during the worship service.

On August 26th a devasting flood struck Nepal, causing much destruction and loss of life. The ELCA Disaster Response has set up a fund to assist recovery efforts. A link on the ELCA website is available for all those wishing to make a donation to this cause.

You are invited to the Cross Trails Ministry Fall Festival in Fredericksburg on September 19th from 9am – 3pm! See the flyer in the Narthex for more information.

In an effort to help support our local Mason County Food Pantry, St. Paul and local area churches will be stocking a list of staples on a regular basis. St. Paul will help with canned corn, peas and mixed vegetables. Donations of these canned goods can be dropped off in the Narthex each Sunday and placed in the donation box, or dropped off at the Church Office during office hours (Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-Noon). Thank you for helping us meet this need!

We are pleased to have you visit us online and look forward to having you join us for services and fellowship here at St. Paul. Mason is filled with God’s spirit and some of the most wonderful loving people you could hope to know. I am honored to be here sharing God’s word.

 

The history that surrounds us here is proof of God’s amazing work and St. Paul has been part of that since 1872. The rich history within the walls of St. Paul provides our congregation a strong foundation and secure place to continue our worship for generations to come.

 

Our mission is to hear, share, and proclaim the word of God. Jesus Christ is the living word of God for our lives. By faith in Christ’s life-giving love and grace, and guided by the light of God’s holy spirit, we live, love and serve in God’s world today and each day.
