ANNOUNCEMENTS
MEXICAN PILE-ON LUNCHEON is scheduled for Sunday, October 7th. This is an annual fundraiser to help defray the cost of children attending summer church camp. A sign-up sheet has been placed on the table in the narthex for donations of food for the event. Your help is needed to make this event a success!
THANK YOU to everyone who contributed items for the relief effort for Sonora flood victims. Items were sent on Friday.
NEXT SUNDAY we will begin taking donations for victims of Hurricane Florence. The council voted to receive donations through the month of October.
SILENT AUCTION: Our quilters have created several handmade items that will be displayed for auction on Sunday, October 7th at the Mexican Pile-On Luncheon. Items being auctioned are decorative pillows, denim bowls, hot pads and a handmade throw quilt. Proceeds from the auction will go to St. Paul’s Youth Camping Fund along with monies from the Mexican Pile-On Luncheon. Auction items will be displayed on the table in the narthex.
