ANNOUNCEMENTS
TODAY WE WELCOME LeEster (Habecker) Burch as a member of St. Paul from First United Methodist Church of Lockhart, TX (originally confirmed by Pastor Lee Muehlbrad at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Pflugerville). We welcome back Nicholas Gierisch to St. Paul by letter of transfer from Calvary Lutheran Church, San Angelo, TX.
FIRST TIME CONFIRMATION STUDENTS and their parents, along with those who were confirmed this past May, will meet Wednesday, September 5 beginning at 6:00 p.m. A meal will be served for everyone first; then newly attending confirmands will meet with Pastor Fred, while those confirmed last year will meet with Ann Mahnken and Kim Hengst. This meeting is very important, so please plan to attend.
INVITATION: You are cordially invited to the installation service for The Rev. Susan Jennifer Briner as Bishop of the Southwestern Texas Synod. The service will be held at University United Methodist Church, 5084 De Zavala Road in San Antonio at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 1. For additional information contact info@swtsynod.org.
FOOD BANK DISTRIBUTION: Volunteers are needed to help with food distribution at the Food Bank on Sept. 10, 11, & 12 from 2:45-5:30 p.m. A sign-up sheet has been left on the table in the narthex for your convenience. If you have any questions, contact Mark Lehmberg at 347-2400.
