PRAYER LIST: Please lift up the following: The family of Danny Gierisch, Beverly Marek, Jay Marek, Max Hirrill and Jeremy Hunley (relatives of Cindy Bowden), Lynn Ake, Teddy Ray Doyal, Jim Vines, Larry Wright, Deacon Darcy Mittelstaedt and the St. Paul Call Committee, border challenges, those serving in the military, and for peace.
The First United Methodist Church is organizing a distribution of THANKSGIVING MEALS for our Mason County neighbors in need and is looking for our support again this year. FUMC will provide the choice of a turkey or a ham to 111 families, along with a $30 Lowe’s gift card to purchase sides. We can participate in this worthy endeavor by contributing towards the purchase of gift cards. Monetary donations may be mailed directly to FUMC (PO Box 178, Mason 76856), delivered directly to their church office (224 Broad St), or place a check made out to “FUMC-Turkey Drive” in the offering plate, and we will get the check to them. Donations can be made from now until Thanksgiving. Thank you!
The PARISH LIFE WILL BE HOSTING a Progressive Dinner on Sunday, December 29. More details will follow soon, but mark your calendars. Please think about inviting and offering rides to those who might not be comfortable driving at night.
