22 Mar News for Now!
As we approach the celebration of Easter, the holiest day of the year that marks the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, we do so with contemplation and reverence for the miracle the Lord bestowed upon us. As Christians we should be mindful of this sacrifice and blessing each day. Martin Luther celebrated Lent because it reminds Christians of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
At St. Paul Lutheran Church our observance of Lent includes Lenten suppers together on March 17th and 21st. Holy Week begins with the Palm Sunday procession on March 25th at 10:30 am, Maundy Thursday join us for the Last Supper Holy Communion Service at 7 pm, and Good Friday services will be at 7 pm.
Easter Sunday, Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. followed immediately by our Annual Easter Egg Hunt for pre-K through 4th graders. Please brings a basket with 6 plastic candy-filled eggs.
Easter Sunday Resurrection Worship with Holy Communion begins at 10:45 a.m.
If you cannot join us for worship service, please tune in to KHLB 102.5 at 10:10 am each Sunday.
