ANNOUNCEMENTS

PRAYER LIST: Please lift up the following: Beverly Marek, Jay Marek, Max Hirrill and Jeremy Hunley (relatives of Cindy Bowden), Lynn Ake, Teddy Ray Doyal, Jim Vines, Larry Wright, Deacon Darcy Mittelstaedt and the St. Paul Call Committee, border challenges, those serving in the military, and for peace.

THANK YOU– St. Paul Lutheran Church was grateful for Kaymie Alba, Ray Row, Mark Velez, Saul Lopez, Taylor Garcia, and Corbin Martinez. These students started cleaning in and around our St. Paul Closet building. They then moved to the church grounds to rake leaves and clean flower beds. St. Paul Lutheran hosted lunch for all the students. This group set up the tables and chairs in preparation for all of MHS to have lunch. After lunch, they cleaned the Social Hall and bathrooms and removed all the trash.

St. Paul Lutheran hosted the lunch with support from Art Methodist, Global Methodist, and Dr. Pepper. Thank you to all who brought sandwiches, cookies, and water, especially Janet Schmidt, Candy Eckert, Vondell Jordan, and Hunter Wenzel. MHS always appreciates the outpouring of support for our students.

The First United Methodist Church is organizing a distribution of THANKSGIVING MEALS for our Mason County neighbors in need and is looking for our support again this year. FUMC will provide the choice of a turkey or a ham to 111 families, along with a $30 Lowe’s gift card to purchase sides. We can participate in this worthy endeavor by contributing towards the purchase of gift cards. Monetary donations may be mailed directly to FUMC (PO Box 178, Mason 76856), delivered directly to their church office (224 Broad St), or place a check made out to “FUMC-Turkey Drive” in the offering plate, and we will get the check to them. Donations can be made from now until Thanksgiving. Thank you!
