PRAYER LIST: Please lift up the following: Christina Reichenau, Lynn Ake, Teddy Ray Doyal, Kay Yonker, Danny Gierisch, Jim Vines, Larry Kahan, Anna Schmidt Hay, Larry Wright, Trenton Merritt and Azzy Merritt (Bridget Langdale’s son and grandson), border challenges, those serving in the military, and for peace.
CHRISTMAS BRUNCH for the women of St. Paul will be held Wednesday, December 6 at 10:00am at the home of Sherie Clarkson, 305 Spruce St. There will be a brief Bible Study to complete the study of Ecclesiastes and a Christmas program by Ann Mahnken.
Members of the Morning Bible Study group are asked to bring a brunch type food item to be shared. Join us for a Christmas gathering.
THANK YOU to Ryne Todd, Ben Pinter, Jack Gillespie, Leroy Bobbit, Russell Watson, Carlton Schmidt, Keegan Ratliff, Collin Strand, Rayder Row, Corbin Martinez, Liam Kruso, Mr. Kahan, Linda Geistweidt, Harold Albers, and Bob Vacek for cleaning church grounds and flower beds. This project was done in conjunction with Blue Ribbon Service Day.
CHRISTMAS LUMINARY: As we celebrate Advent and prepare
our hearts for Christ’s birth, the annual St Paul Lutheran Church sponsored Christmas Luminary drive-through is scheduled for December 10, from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. in the City Park.
We would appreciate your help in the following areas to make this event possible.
- Loading-up and setting-up the scenes: please meet in the parking lot by the church parsonage garage at 2:30 P.M.
- Bringing small cuttings of cedar, or yucca plants, for scene decorations: bring the cuttings to the City Park at 3:00 P.M.
- Taking down the scenes in the City Park after the Luminary finishes: meet at the City Park at 7:00 P.M.
- Needed: members to prepare sandwiches for the people who set up Luminary scenery and sweet treats for the kids and youth participating in the Luminary. (Call Ann Mahnken or Helen Habecker if you can help.)

CHRISTMAS POINSETTIA ORDER ENVELOPES have been inserted into today’s bulletin. If you wish to order a poinsettia in honor or memory of a loved one, please fill out the information on the envelope, place your payment inside and insert the envelope in the labeled box in the narthex or in the offering plate. Cost per plant is $10.00. Deadline for orders is Wednesday, December 13.

Articles for the January-February-March “Proclaimer” are due Wednesday, December 13. This is earlier than usual, due to Christmas.
